Housework
Molly is 16 years old, and she hates doing housework. Her mother, Claire, worked all weekend, so Molly had to do housework. Claire left a "to do list" and went to her office early in the morning. Molly's alarm clock rang at 8am, but she couldn't wake up. She slept until 10am! She woke up and started cleaning the windows first. Then, she mopped the floor and vacuumed the carpets. Her mother called at 12pm to check on her.
Claire: Hi honey! What are you doing?
Molly: Hi Mum! I'm tidying my room now.
Claire: Good! Have you fed the dog?
Molly: No, I haven't.
Claire: Have you cleaned the windows and vacuumed the carpets? Molly: Yes, I have.
Claire: Ok, don't forget to mop the floor and do the laundry,
please.
Molly: I have already mopped the floor, but I haven't done the
laundry yet. Ok, Mum. I need to go now. Love you!
Claire: Love you!
