How technology can save us hope

Technology has helped us a lot in the past, and it will definitely help us with our new challenges in the world. One of these challenges is pollution and another one is climate change.

Most of our pollution comes from factories and the things we throw away every day. Hundreds of million tons of items are produced every day, and nearly the same amount is thrown away by people who use them. How can technology solve this problem?

Look at the smartphone in your hand. It can do all the things that more than 10 gadgets could do in the 1990s. On your mobile phone, you can play games, listen to the radio, listen to music, record your voice, take pictures, record videos, call people and so on. If we didn’t have smartphones, we would need to carry lots of gadgets. Imagine how much the production of those gadgets would cost and pollute the environment.

Another way technology can help us is by cleaning up waste from the oceans. We can use technology to build robots that can clean up the oceans by gathering plastic and other toxic material in the water. We can also build machines that can filter water very fast and make it drinkable.
