HOW TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Everyone will try to raise some money for a charity at least once in their lives. This usually starts in your school life. You may take part in a social club for a cause. Whatever club you take part in at your school, you will probably have to raise some money to continue doing the great things you do! While doing this, you may try different types of strategies. Here are some of the types of fundraising strategies you may want to look at before starting your fund raising.
1) ..................... : This is a popular strategy in the fundraising world, and the sales of them are effective and fun for your whole community. You should create a catalogue of them that promote your club. You should create more designs with variety of colours, styles and sizes in order to sell them online or at fundraising events so anyone who loves your club can show their support.
2) ..................... : If you currently attend high school or college, you can set up this fundraiser to raise money for your club! All you have to do is to hold a traditional raffle, in which people buy tickets with numbers on them and some of these number are later chosen to win prizes. The only difference is that the main prize is two of the best seats in a sporting event.
3) ..................... : You don’t have to be a professional photographer to pull off this fundraising idea, but it certainly helps! Offer to shoot digital photos and make people look professional or silly using your creative ideas or ask them how they would like to look like.
4) ..................... : These are perfect for active supporters who like to show their passion for a cause. They are well-suited for healthcare-related issues and causes, but they can technically be used for any type of fundraising effort! You’ll need to determine a location and time for it. Choose a season that is a good temperature. Then, send out invitations and design some merchandise like t-shirts and water bottles. You can sell these for an extra fee to raise money above any entrance costs you charge. Make sure you have medical and first-aid supplies nearby in the case of an accident, and lots and lots of water!
5) ..................... : This is a great way to get the community involved in raising money for your club or organization. You need a few rocking chairs and a place for the event to occur. Your club members ask for a promise from family and friends to see how long they can rock in a rocking chair. Supporters can donate a specific amount (think $5) for every hour their loved one stays in the chair. Do not forget to have music and actives to on the day of the event.
