HOW TO PLAN A TRIP
Travelling can be difficult for some people. If you want to take a trip to a new place which is far away from where you live, you need to make a good plan to have a safe trip. So when you know where you want to go, you should decide when and how you are getting there.
Many people take a trip during holidays because that is when they can take a break from work or studies. Unfortunately, travelling during holiday season can be expensive because the prices for flight tickets and hotel rooms are usually higher than in the off-season period. If you have a small budget, you should take a trip during the off-season, when prices are lower.
If you have a limited budget, taking a road trip will be cheaper. If you choose to fly, you need to take public transportation to get around in your holiday destination. You should clearly know where you are going and make sure you check the routes and the fares before you leave home.
Next, calculate your costs. Where do you want to stay? If you take a road trip, you may stay in a motel. Today, some people stay on a campsite or in a hostel because they are cheaper options. If you want to stay in a hotel, make cuts in your budget. Why don’t you eat out less or even cut the trip short, and get back before the holiday season ends?
Once you are exactly sure of where and when you want to go, how to get there and where you are staying, make your reservations. You can book your flight and accommodation online and pay with your credit card. If you plan to travel internationally, keep your passport, travel documents, visas and similar items in one place and don’t forget to take travel insurance.
Lastly, pack light. Heavy luggage usually causes problems. Take a few basic shirts and pants or shorts and roll them when packing, to save room for souvenirs.
