How was this Year?

Martin: ‘This year was better than last year. I made new friends and learnt a lot of things. I played lots of games. Also, I changed one of my bad habits. Last year, I didn’t do my homework after school. Instead, I did it before school in the morning. But this year, I did all my homework after school.’

Tina: ‘This was the best school year I ever had. I got excellent grades and became one of the popular students in my class. After school, I started learning the violin and went to singing classes. I want to learn to play different instruments because I want to be in a band in the future. I’m going to practise a lot this summer.’

Joe: ‘I broke my leg in November, so I couldn’t walk for 2 months. After that, I was careful with my leg, so I didn’t play games with my classmates. I just watched them play in the playground. It was a boring year, and my grades got worse. But I don’t want to lose hope. I’m going to study harder, get better grades and play more with my friends next year.’
