How was Your Last Weekend?

Brian: ‘It was great. I was on a sailboat with my family. It was a lot of fun. My family and I usually go to the
sea on a boat and enjoy our weekend. My dad sits quietly and reads books, and my mum takes beautiful pictures of the sea. Last weekend, we weren’t alone. My friend Brad’s family were with us too. They weren’t happy, though, because it was their first time on the boat and they were seasick.’

Candice: ‘It wasn’t very good. It was rainy and my family and I were at home the whole day. My brother wasn’t with us because he was at my grandma’s house. There weren’t good shows on TV, so I was bored. My friends weren’t online in the evening, so I was on my bed watching films on my smartphone. On Sunday night, the
weather was clear, but it was too late to go out.’
