Hyperloop
Matt: I read about a new technology called Hyperloop last night.
Joe: Sounds like a cool name for a technology. Is it related to cars?
Matt: No, it’s a train system. It’s a bunch of cars that travel through a tube very, very fast.
Joe: Where is it? I know nothing about it.
Matt: Well, actually, they’re working on it now, but I think it’ll be commonplace after 10 years.
Joe: So, how fast will those cars travel?
Matt: They say Hyperloop can travel about 1,200 kilometres per hour.
Joe: Wow! That’s so fast. It’s very interesting, but I don’t think it’ll work.
Matt: Why? It’s a great idea, I think.
Joe: Well, going that fast is very dangerous. And what will happen when the car crashes? Will they open the tube? And how many tubes are they planning to put around the city?
Matt: I have no idea, but I think it’ll become very popular for long-distance trips. I don’t think they will bring it into cities.
Joe: It’s a futuristic idea, but let me read more about it. I’ll google it tonight
