I Have Got a Big Family!

I am Jared and I am 16 years old. My mum comes from a big family. She has got four brothers and four sisters, and seven of them are married and have got children. I have got lots of cousins. All of us live in the same neighbourhood, so I see them many times during the week.

My favourite aunt, Mary, is not married. She is 32 years old, but she has got the same interests as me, so I spend lots of time with her. We’ve got lots of things to talk about. She also helps me with my homework and video games – yes, video games. She has got old and new video games and she sometimes plays better than me.

My favourite cousin is Alison. We have got the same interests too. I love making new things, so she comes to my garage to help me when she has got time.

Some people say a big family is not good, but I am happy I have got a big family!
