I’m a Teacher

I’m a Teacher

Good afternoon. My name is Catherine Bonfire. I’m single, but I live with my parents and my two sisters, Alice and Beatrice. They are twins. I’m 32 years old and I’m an English teacher at a secondary school in Leeds. Teaching is my life. I love my work, I love my students and I love learning with them. I usually get up early because I always have a shower in the morning. I have breakfast at home and then I walk to school. Classes start at 9 a.m., but I like to arrive earlier. I go to my classroom and prepare everything before students come into the class.

I always have lunch in the school canteen with my students. They are so funny. They talk about their lives, their families, their dreams and sometimes about their problems, but I’m there for them. Classes finish at 4 p.m., but before going home I like going to the city to look at the shop windows, to see people around and sometimes have a nice cup of coffee.
