I’m Amy

Hi. I’m Amy. I live in a small village in England. I’m a student at George’s Primary School. I was very excited yesterday because we had a school trip to the city centre. At 9 o’clock, we got on the school bus and left school. It was 10 o’clock when we arrived at the city centre. We got off the bus and stood around our teacher, Mrs. Taylor. “You have to line up. You mustn’t leave the group,” she said. “When we’re in a museum or a shop, you mustn’t touch anything or make noise,” she added. Everyone understood the rules and said “OK”. First, we went to the museum. We learnt how people lived before in my country. Then, we went to the biggest square of the city. It was very crowded. We took a picture of the square. Later, we sat in a park and ate our sandwiches and apples. It was a warm day, so we enjoyed it. After lunch, we went to the shopping centre. In my town, there isn’t a shopping centre. There are some small shops. We wanted to go to the bookstore and toy shop, and our teacher took us there. I bought a new comic and a toy car. At 3 o’clock, we got on the school bus and went back to school. It was a good day.
