I’M TOO ILL

I’M TOO ILL

It was Monday. “I’m too ill, I feel dizzy. I can’t sleep,” said Jimmy. “Have a glass of water,” said his father. “Ouch, I’m too ill, I can’t drink it,” said Jimmy. Jimmy had a sore throat on Tuesday. “Oh dear,” said his dad. “Here is some medicine. Take some.” “Oh no, I’m too ill, I can’t take any,” said Jimmy. The next morning Jimmy had a headache. “Ouch, ouch, ouch! It hurts,” said Jimmy. “Oh dear,” said his dad. By evening he had an earache. “Ouch, ouch, ouch! It hurts!” “Oh dear,” said his dad. “I’m calling the doctor.” “I’m too ill to see the doctor,” said Jimmy. But the doctor arrived. “High temperature and the flu!” he said. “Take this medicine three times a day.” Next morning Jimmy got up. “Good morning dad,” he said. “I feel much better!”
