I NEED ADVICE!

a. I work as a waiter at a restaurant in London. This is my second month. I like my job but I am not happy about the payment. They pay other waiters more just because they are older than me. What should I do? -JANE

b. I live in Portland. I am a high school student. My favourite sport is basketball. I am in the school team. We practice every day after school between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. I feel very tired when I come home and I can’t do my homework properly. What should I do? -LEO

c. My sister is ten years old. She doesn’t have a mobile phone but she keeps asking my parents for one. Her school doesn’t allow them to use phones at school and she is still very young for it. What should I do? -BILL

1. You should have good grades and work hard for your lessons for the college. You should talk to your trainer and reschedule you practice hours if it’s possible.

2. You should talk to your sister and explain her why it is early for her to have a mobile phone. You can also get help from the school counselor.

3. There is not much you can do. If you are not happy with the payment, you should talk about it with the boss. You should explain your reasons. You can also look for a new job.
