ICE AGE

Every Sunday I watch a movie with my family. Last night we watched a film called Ice Age 1. It was a movie about some prehistoric animals. Scrat was a sabre-toothed squirrel and he loved his acorn. He was very funny. He hid the acorn and couldn’t find it. He opened a big hole in the ground and came to prehistoric times.
Animals were going to the south because it was very cold. The Ice Age was starting.
There was also a sabre-toothed tiger called Diego. He looked very scary and dangerous. Diego was a carnivore and he ate meat. His teeth were really long. Sid was a big sloth. He was slow and lazy. Sloths are herbivores, so they just eat plants or fruit. My favourite character in the movie was Manny. He was a big mammoth. Mammoths also lived in prehistoric times. They looked like elephants, but they had long fur and very long tusks.
Diego, Sid and Manny found a human baby. The baby was lost and they couldn’t find his mother. In prehistoric times, humans lived in caves. They made beautiful cave paintings. They carved them on the walls. They hunted animals. They wore animal skin and fur to keep warm. Humans are omnivores, so they ate meat and plants. I really liked the movie. I learned a lot of things about prehistoric times, animals and people.
