Catherine: Mr Lucas?
Mr Lucas: Yes, girls. Come in!
Catherine: Hi. Roberta and I are new here. Where is our class?
Mr Lucas: OK. What’s your name?
Catherine: I’m Catherine Reid.
Mr Lucas: How do you spell your last name?
Catherine: R-E-I-D.
Mr Lucas: And what’s your name?
Roberta: I’m Roberta Gonzalez. It’s G-O-N-Z-A-L-E-Z.
Mr Lucas: All right. Catherine, you’re in Class 9C, and Roberta, you’re in Class 9A.
Roberta: Oh no! We’re not in the same class.
Mr Lucas: Are you friends?
Catherine: Yes, Roberta’s my best friend.
Mr Lucas: Class 9C is full. But, Catherine, you can go to Roberta’s class.
Catherine: Really? Thank you, Mr Lucas.
Mr Lucas: What’s in your bags?
Catherine: My notebooks, a calculator, pens, pencils and my mobile phone.
Mr Lucas: You can’t take your mobile phone to the class. Put it here, please. Roberta, you too.
Roberta: OK. And I haven’t got a bag with me.
Mr Lucas: Thank you. Now you can go to your class. Good luck!
