Is country life better than city life?

Personally, I think country life has fewer opportunities but you should think about how healthy it is. Your kids will live in a clean environment and breathe fresh air. In addition, everybody knows each other in the country. It is possible for your kids to have close friends. These are great benefits. You should live in the country not for yourself but for your children. Ann

You can easily get to anywhere you want because everything is so close. For example, the hospital. Unfortunately, you could die on the way to the hospital if there is an emergency when you live in the countryside. Another reason why I love the city is that you can enjoy the fast food. There are always so many options. David

In my view, there are more leisure activities in the city. Also you have easier access to emergency services. However, life in the country is very hard, because there is always a lot of physical work you have to do. On balance, I will always live in the city. Jess

I have lived in a village before and I love it. The main reason I enjoy it so much is because I have good neighbours and friends around all the time. Another reason is that I can have a farm and grow my own vegetables and fruits. I also raise chickens, cows, and turkeys. It is definitely great to be close to nature. Harry

Living in the country seems easier and healthier. However, it leaves you with limited access to medical, fire and police services. Another downside is that schooling is difficult as you are always far away from everything. Even your nearest friends are far away. Personally, I don’t prefer living in the country to the city. Laura
