IS MEGHAN MARKLE A TRENDSETTER?

Meghan Markle had become a fashion icon long before her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018 and being a member of the British Royalty, but her fashion choices have made her a trendsetter among even the most fashionable British figures.

British jewellery designer Shaun Leane stated that Megan enjoys spending time with supermodels Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Anja Rubik. Meghan has made the gold earrings designed by Mr Leane one of her favourites and has been seen wearing them at many public events. The earrings are regularly a bestseller for Mr Leane’s luxury jewellery brand, and he sold a huge amount in four weeks that he normally would sell in six months. The jewellery designer’s accessories have been worn by countless glamour models, actresses, and singers including Uma Thurman, Kate Moss and Adele but Mr. Leane described his experience with Meghan as truly “unbelievable”. He said he had dressed a lot of celebrities but dressing someone like Meghan was unbelievable and amazing and it was a real honour. He also said: “She dresses very elegantly, very chic, with very clean lines but with a really nice strong silhouette. It’s very confident.” Mr Leane also said that the Duchess is the type of person he keeps in mind when he designs and praised her for having “great eye for each event”. He added that he was “flattered” that Meghan had chosen his designs.

Meghan was also named three times as the most popular celebrity fashion influencer of three weeks of 2018 by an online fashion research platform, Anca, beating names such as Kim Kardashian and Serena Williams. The most shocking result of the survey by Anca was Meghan’s position over her sister-in-law fashion icon Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who slid from number five in 2017 to number 16 this year.
