Some people say that dogs look like their owners. It may seem like a crazy idea, but a new study from Britain shows that it is possible.

To prove this idea, British researchers worked on 50 dogs and their owners. They took the photos of both the dogs and the owners and mixed them up. Then, they asked 200 people to match them. 140 people could match the owners with the dogs correctly.

The researchers were really confused. People didn’t match the photos according to the physical similarities. In other words, people didn’t match the skinny and small dogs with the people who are thin and short. They didn’t simply match the curly black hairy dog with the similar haired person.

The researchers worked on their method and found out that people matched the dogs and owners according to personality. They matched the friendly and happy looking dogs with sociable and cheerful people.
