Istanbul – A City on Two Continents

Shirley: Hi Tina. Are you in London?
Tina: No, I’m not. I’m in Istanbul.
Shirley: Oh! What is it like there?
Tina: It’s fantastic here! The weather is nice at this time of the year, and there are lots of things to do.
Shirley: Are there any historic places to visit?
Tina: Yes, there are. I’m now next to a mosque called the Blue Mosque. There are lots of other places too. I want to go to the museums in the afternoon and tomorrow morning.
Shirley: Is there a beach there?
Tina: Yes, there is. Actually, there are lots of beaches with parks and restaurants near them.
Shirley: Are there any funfairs?
Tina: I don’t know. There isn’t one in this neighbourhood, but I can ask.
