It Needs Funny Acting Too!

Janice: Are you going to sit through this?

Emma: Why what’s wrong?

Janice: I think the play is silly and the actors aren’t acting properly. Look! The character is thirsty,
but he’s drinking the water normally. That’s not how a thirsty person drinks water.

Emma: You’re right. But the story is funny. The man and his donkey are the funniest.

Janice: Well, I agree, but a funny story needs funny acting too.

Emma: You’re right, but these two characters are the serious ones. The two girls are the funny characters.

Janice: Yeah, I think they’re the best. Catherine is acting as the king’s daughter, right? She’s great.

Emma: I love her acting too. She rehearsed for a long time, and I know she always works hard to get what she wants.

Janice: Right. She came to the rehearsals early and left late in the evening. Huh! Look!
