Jenny and Kyle at the camp

Jenny and Kyle at the camp

Jenny is the manager of a summer camp in London, and Kyle is a volunteer who wants to work at the camp. They are having an interview about the job.
Jenny: We need to decide to choose people for our summer camp. That’s why we want to have this interview with you.
Kyle: OK, sure.
Jenny: Have you ever thought about sailing? Our summer camp is near a huge lake. Sailing can be one of the most interesting activities.
Kyle: Yes, I went sailing to the Mediterranean Sea last summer. It was marvellous. I am also good at swimming which is important while sailing.
Jenny: That sounds perfect. Have you ever tried horse riding?
Kyle: No, I haven’t, but I have a good relationship with animals. I have two dogs.
Jenny: Well, before the summer camp we can offer you some riding courses here, so you can practise and learn how to look after the horses.
Kyle: Fantastic!
Jenny: We have also a different programme apart from the other summer course. Have you ever heard about our Survivor programme?
Kyle: I was at your Survivor camp last year. It was only for adults. I had so much fun. That’s why I want to apply as a team leader.
Jenny: That is great! That means you have had some ideas about what we do in the Survivor programme. It is not as difficult as the adult one, but you will learn how to build a shelter and find food and water.
Kyle: Yes, I had lots of great memories.
Jenny: I think you suit this job. Congratulations!
Kyle: Thank you very much! I’m excited to start.
