Jeremy: Dad, can I go to Allan’s house tomorrow?

Dad: You know your grandparents are coming for lunch tomorrow. We need you at home.

Jeremy: Oh, I forgot about that. May I go in the afternoon?

Dad: Yes, you may. But first, you should help your mum at home.

Jeremy: Sure. I can go shopping with her and help her prepare lunch.

Dad: You’re very thoughtful Jeremy.

Jeremy:  Oh, there’s something else. May I stay late at his house because we want to watch the match together.

Dad: That’s fine with me. But don’t forget to ask your mum, too.

Jeremy: Of course. Thank you, Dad.
