Jeremy at the Zoo

Jeremy went to the zoo with his parents last weekend. It was the first time he went to the zoo, and he felt very excited. He woke up earlier than his parents. He finished his breakfast, and got dressed quickly. He was ready. He said, “Come on, dad and mom! Let’s go!”, jumping up and down.

When they were at the zoo gate, Jeremy felt so happy. “I think I will have a great time here!”, he said. Then, he asked his mom, “Are there any giraffes here?”. His mom said, “This is the biggest zoo in the city. There must be some giraffes here.”

While they were walking around the zoo, Jeremy heard the lions roaring. He felt afraid, and screamed, “Oh my! What’s that?”. His father tapped his shoulder, and said, “Don’t be afraid. They are lions. Look over here!” Then, Jeremy saw them, and went closer to see them better. After that, he looked up and saw the giraffes eating some bushes. He started to run towards them. He was so happy to finally see them. He turned around to show his parents the giraffes, but he couldn’t see them. He was worried, and shouted “Dad! Mom!”. While he was looking for his parents, he saw a zookeeper and told him, “I am looking for my dad and mom! I am lost!”. The man asked, “What do they look like?” Jeremy said, “My dad is tall and old. He has straight white hair. He doesn’t have a beard, but he has a moustache. My mom is tall, too. She has blond curly hair. Her hair is shoulder-length. She also has bangs. My dad and mom both have glasses.” The man laughed, and said, “I think I know where they are. Turn around!” Jeremy saw his parents, and ran towards them. They hugged each other.
