Jobs Costume Party

Hi! I’m Emily Watson. I am an English teacher at P.C.T Public School in Istanbul, Turkey. Last Friday, I asked my students to come to school with the costumes of the jobs that they want to do when they grow up. It was surprising to see that almost half of the class wanted to become a vet when they grow up. It was very lovely to see children, caring about animals. It was so funny to see all the children who want to become a teacher used glasses as an accessory for the teacher’s costume!! Jason was the only one who chose magician as a job
for himself. I saw that he has really got the talent after his short magic show for us. It was great to see the students having fun at the same time learning about the jobs. We made a costume contest too. Students were very excited before I announced the winners. Maggie was the champion with her nurse costume, Brian was the first runner up with his pilot costume and Jason was the second runner up with his interesting magician costume. The award was the fun that we all had during the lesson.
