Jobs That Crime Creates

When a criminal is arrested, they can go free by promising some money or property until they go to court. This amount of money or property is called ‘bond’. If the person who was arrested has to appear in court for trial and doesn’t do so on the ordered date, the government can take the bond by sending a bounty hunter. Being a bounty hunter can be risky because people usually don’t want to lose their money or property, so they may try to prevent the bounty hunter from doing his job. That is why bounty hunters are paid a lot of money when they take the bond that was promised. They can earn at least 100,000 dollars a year.

Another crime-related job deals with crime scenes directly. A crime scene cleaner is a person who goes to a crime scene after detectives have done full investigations on the crime scene. This can be a tough job to do, especially because a crime scene cleaner may have to deal with dead bodies, broken stuff, chemicals and dangerous objects. The experience of seeing a crime scene can also be traumatising, but crime scene cleaners receive special training and uniforms to do their job. Because of the nature of their job, crime scene cleaners get paid about 75,000 dollars a year.
