JOE’S GUILTY MANAGER

This morning I got an email, and I don’t know how to feel about it. The email was from my former manager at the factory where I worked with Jenna five years ago. He apologised for how he treated me then. He was feeling guilty about it and wanted to see me. Basically, the story goes like this: 

Years ago, my manager fired me because a secretary called Jenna accused me of stealing from the company. Her plan was to take my position, and she was successful! Five years after I left the factory, Jenna was still holding the same position. One day she didn’t come to work because the police arrested her for different crimes and offences. Some of her crimes were serious. 

While she was working at the factory she was a university student, so she wanted to pay for her university by committing different crimes. She broke into people’s homes and stole their jewellery and money. Her family had a garage, so she damaged the cars in her neighbourhood. This way, they earned money from their neighbours. 

I’m sure she committed a lot of other crimes too. With all these crimes, she may be behind bars for a long time. Now I don’t know if I should accept my former manager’s apology or not. What do you think?
