John’s Adventure

Last Saturday, John and Mandy agreed to meet at Hyde Park in London. John got on a red doubledecker bus with two floors. Mandy used the Underground, which is the name of the subway system in London. Of course, Mandy arrived at the park first because there is no traffic underground. However, John came thirty minutes late and then told Mandy what had happened on the bus. An old lady had a heart attack on the bus! As soon as the driver saw the lady, he stopped and called the emergency services. Until an ambulance came, the people around the lady checked her purse to try and find an ID and also a phone number of someone she knew. They found her son’s phone number and called him. He came there five minutes after the ambulance arrived. The lady and her son got on the ambulance together and the son thanked everyone for being so helpful. John was sorry for being late. Mandy told him not to worry because she had a good time until he came. The weather was perfect, so she sat on the grass and waited for John. Then, John and Mandy sat together in the park for a while and talked about their lives.
