JORDAN B. PETERSON

Jordan Bernt Peterson (born 12 June 1962) is a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto and a clinical psychologist. A large part of his career has been dedicated to the empowerment of individuals, especially professionals, in order to deal with their work-related stress at certain stages of their career.

Jordan Peterson has been the subject of controversy after he refused to use government-enforced language for various groups of people. He has also had enemies among people who think his audience is predominantly male. His YouTube videos have garnered more than 100 million views in total. They are not about the empowerment of young men only; they are also about topics like religion, history and politics.

Because of his work and popularity among men, Jordan Peterson has come under a lot of attacks from various groups. However, he likes to talk openly about issues, so he goes to different shows and appears in interviews on various channels to explain his views. His knowledge, experience and calm behaviour have made him a father figure for a lot of young men who seek a role model for themselves. To help young people put their lives in order, he published a book called 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos in early 2018.
