Just The Job

One day a businessman decided that he needed help with his business. He put a sign in the window saying "HELP WANTED. Must be bilingual and must be good with a computer. Apply within." A dog was walking past when he saw the sign. He stopped and looked at it for a while and then he went inside. The receptionist was talking on the phone, and didn’t see the dog come in. The dog wagged his tail, then walked over to the sign, and started to bark loudly. The businessman came out of his office when he heard the barking. He was very surprised when he saw the dog barking at the sign advertising the job, but he led the dog into his office anyway.

The businessman told the dog, "The sign says you have to be good with a computer." The dog listened and then went over to the computer. After a few minutes, he produced a sample spreadsheet and presented it to the businessman. By this time the businessman was totally shocked! He said to the dog, "I see that you are a very clever dog. But, I still can't give you the job because you must be bilingual." The dog looked straight at him and said, "Meow."
