Kate's holiday in Toronto

My name is Kate. My family lives in Toronto, Canada and we definitely love being here. The best thing about my hometown is that it’s a very multi-cultural city. That means that there are a lot of people from many different countries all over the world, so I can meet these people. Also, I like eating different kinds of foods. In Toronto you can have Italian food, Thai food, Indian food, and French food. I am crazy about the Thai food here.

Winters are very cold and snowy and there are ski resorts very close to Toronto so I go skiing with my family on some weekends. Its summers are usually full of warm or hot sunny days so we can do a lot of outdoor activities with my friends. I love sunbathing on the beach and drinking frozen fruit smoothies. My mom just can’t stand sitting under the sun and she usually goes to the movies with my dad.

There are two official languages in Canada, English and French, but people in Toronto speak English so most tourists can easily communicate with the local people in the city. I love living in this city and I definitely recommend you to pay a visit here sometime and have fun.
