Kevin’s First Acting Experiences

I was 15 years old when I started acting. I didn’t like it at first, but I wanted to try it because my best friend was an actor. He was very popular at school, so I thought I could also become popular by acting.

In my first play, I played a monster. I didn’t have any lines. I just ran after the king and queen in the story and shouted at them. It was a funny play, but I had a monster suit and mask on, so nobody saw me.

In my second play, my best friend asked me to act in his place because he became ill two days before the play. I said yes, but then I was shocked because he had lots and lots of dialogue lines to memorise. I tried very hard for two days, and I could memorise all his lines. The play was a success, and everybody loved it. I became famous like my best friend.
