Late for School

Daniel woke up late that day. He always takes the subway to go to school. That morning, he was late for school, so he asked his dad “Dad, can you take me to school in your car?” Dad said, “Ok, but you have to hurry up because I am also late for a morning meeting. We have to leave in a minute.” Daniel said “Ok”, and he got his schoolbag. They immediately left the house. While they were going through the busiest road of the city, the car slowed down. Dad couldn’t understand the problem. He drove towards an empty parking lot on the right side of the road. When he parked the car, he understood the problem. The car didn’t have any gas. Dad said, “Daniel, I have to walk to the nearest gas station to get some gas. You can’t wait for me. You will have to take the ferry to go to the other side.” Daniel said, “Ok. Don’t worry about me!” Daniel bought a ticket at the port and took the next ferry. He sat on the deck, looking around. Istanbul was beautiful. There was a huge fancy bridge over him. The ferry was just going under it. Daniel was very late for school, but he really enjoyed his morning adventure.
