Let It Out of Your Chest
Sophie : Two years ago, my boyfriend asked me to marry him, but I said no because he was poor and was working all the time. He didn’t give me the attention I needed, and I was fed up with him talking about his career and goals all the time. We separated afterwards. Yesterday I found out that he got married. I was surprised to see that his wedding was on a cruise ship with 200 guests. Then I asked my friends about him. He’s now the owner of a multimillion-pound company. I don’t know how to feel about this.
Mad Nathan : I get frustrated when I choose the wrong neighbourhood to live in, and this seems to be a pattern in my life. I’ve just moved into a flat in Manhattan. I never thought that my neighbours would put their rubbish in the corridors and have it sit there until someone picks it up the next day. What if the rubbish smells bad? It’s just disrespectful towards your neighbours.
Ashley.pilot: I used to take classes to become a pilot, but I didn’t want to do this alone. So I asked Joe, a friend of mine who also liked to learn flying, to take the classes with me. If you could score high in the tests, you could actually find a job somewhere as an assistant pilot. In one of the lessons, I faced a technical issue and almost crashed into the forest. After that frightening experience, Joe persuaded me not to continue the lessons. I dropped out, and guess what happened a few weeks later. He’d found a job as an assistant pilot in a cargo company. I sometimes feel angry with him because of this.
