LET’S MAKE SOMETHING!

Emma and Ted are at home. Their parents are at work. They are so hungry. They decide to cook something to eat, so they go to the kitchen.

Emma: Ted, please open the fridge and look what we can find.

Ted: Ok, hmm let’s see. There is some cheese, some butter and some milk.

Emma: Are there any eggs?

Ted: No, there aren’t.

Emma: Are there any peppers?

Ted: No, there aren’t.

Emma: Can you open the pantry and see what we can find?

Ted: Ok Emma. Hmm. There’s some flour, there’s some sugar.

There are some onions and some potatoes. Look!

There are eight eggs here.

Emma: Well, let’s think what we can cook.

Ted: We can make a crepe!

Emma: Or we can make an omelette!

Ted: We can make a cake, too!

Emma: Let’s make all of them!

Ted: Hurray!
