LETTER TO CAROL
Dear Carol,
I hope you are doing fine. These days I’m very stressed. This week has been a very busy one, and I’ve fallen behind the schedule at work. I have to finish a project by this evening, but I haven’t even started yet. I have an appointment this week, but I haven’t worked about it yet. Tomorrow I have to make a speech at our company’s conference, but I haven’t started writing my speech yet. I haven’t even decided what to talk about. I have come up with a few ideas but I’m scared it will be too similar to the speech that was given last year. Each time I start to write, the phone rings. Now I have stopped answering the phone because I can’t get any work done. I haven’t even eaten my lunch yet. I was planning to meet my friends later in the week but I have already cancelled our plans because I’m too busy. Even when I go home this evening I still have work to do. I have to help my mum and buy groceries because we have eaten almost everything in the house. Also, for the last four days I have forgotten to write an e-mail to you, please excuse my late response. I can’t wait until next week when I will be less busy. How are you?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Franklin
