Life Cycle of Plants
Every living thing has a life cycle and goes through changes during this period. They experience different stages and reach the end of their life. There are lots of different plants, and they all have their own life cycle. Most plants are seeds when they start their journey. In order to grow, they need certain things like water, minerals, and the warmth of the sun. If they don’t get these things, they can’t grow and become a plant.
Seeds wait underground until they get what they need. When they get it, they start to grow. A little sprout pushes out of each seed. Sprouts keep stretching until they poke through the ground. Plants keep growing when they get sunlight and water. The stems grow taller and the leaves unfold. On the main stems, more and more leaves grow. Flowers grow on full-grown plants. On most of these plants, flowers produce fruit. There are also seeds in their fruit so new plants can grow. New plants are like their parent plants. They grow into a mature plant the same way their parents did. When a seed begins to grow, it’s a new journey.
