Life on a Farm

Lucy and Lulu live on a farm with their grandparents. They always have lots of things to do. They wake up at 5:45 and have breakfast together. At 6:30 they feed the cows and goats. Then the children go to school. They come back at 15:30. Lucy feeds the turkeys and collects their eggs.
The carrots look very delicious and Lulu is collecting some to make a carrot soup. Oh no, it started to rain all of a sudden. Lulu is not wearing boots. Her feet are all muddy and sticky now. She is not wearing a raincoat either. Her hair is all wet. She runs into the house. ‘I’m cold. I want to wear my warm jacket’ she says to her mum. Her mum is now making some hot tea for everybody and Lulu is cutting some carrot cake. ‘Cake is better than soup’ she says.
