LOST PET

Debby can’t find her lovely cat Puffy! She looks at the bedroom but Puffy isn’t there. She looks in the kitchen and the bathroom. No, Puffy isn’t there. She looks in the hall and in the living room. a) ...She looks everywhere but she can't find her.... She isn’t in the garden, either. Debby cries and cries. She loves Puffy very much. Greg comes to visit Debby. He wants to help her. He asks, “Do you have a photo of Puffy?” Debby nods and says, “b) ............................................................... .”

Debby and Greg prepare a lost sign for the cat. They stick a photo of Puffy under a big LOST PET heading on a piece of paper. c) ........................................................................................................ . They walk around the town to stick the paper on the walls and boards.

They walk to the library first and stick a lost sign on its wall. Then, they walk to the supermarket and the movie theater to pin their signs. d) ..................................................................................................................... . A woman in the shopping mall sees the lost sign and calls Debby. She says, “I found your cat in my garden this morning. She’s in my house and safe now. You can come and pick her up.”
