Lucky Catch

Hi James,

How are you? I’m great! I have got some wonderful news. You won’t believe what happened. I got selected to the school football team.

Do you remember when we played football together? I have never been a good player. You always tried to teach me but I was terrible. Last Tuesday, I was watching my friends play football and suddenly, Jason kicked the ball at me. I thought I should catch it and give it back to them. When I caught the ball, everybody was looking at me. Coach Harris saw it, too. He said, “This is the best catch I have ever seen!” He wanted me to do it again. He threw some balls at me and I caught all of them. He said I had a natural talent and he asked me to join the football team as a goal keeper. I have never felt happier in my life.

I miss you very much. It’s October and I haven’t seen you since February. I wish we could play football together again. Write back soon.
