Making a Tough Choice

Making a Tough Choice

Terry: So, here is the list of the people we have interviewed. It’s a really tough choice. There were very good candidates for the job.

Carla: Yeah, it’s really difficult when you have to choose only two people. So, what do you think?

Terry: Natasha and Michael are my top choices. But if I were Michael, I wouldn’t wear shirts like that to any interview.

Carla: I agree with you on Natasha. She was professional and knew what to do. She also had a lot of experience and was never fired from her job. But Michael? If I were you, I’d never pick him as my employee. I would go for Charles instead of him.

Terry: Hmm ... Charles. I didn’t pick him because of his terrible résumé. He didn’t seem to be so well-organised. I think he could be one of those people who start out great but fail again and again later.

Carla: I didn’t get that impression from him. But if you think so, we can still keep an eye on him at work.

Terry: That’s really a tough choice. So we’re good on Natasha. Let’s ask Brian’s opinion. After all, he was with us during the interviews. Let me call him ... Hi Brian. Sorry to call you at this time of the day. Do you remember Michael and Charles at the interview? Can you give me your opinion on which person to choose?

Brian: Hi Terry. Yes, I remember everyone. Actually neither. My choices would be Pearl and Max.

Terry: Oh no! Here we are!

Carla: Looks like we have another problem.
