Making Art
Are you interested in art? A famous painter named Picasso said every child is an artist. Children are very creative. There’s a different kind of art for everyone. Some like photography, some like oil painting or origami. Last year there was a girl from Japan in my class. Origami is a kind of art from Japan. It’s folding paper and creating beautiful shapes and models. She taught me how to make origami animal models. The frog and the cat are the easiest. My brother Alan likes making mobiles. He has a collection of planes and helicopters. He hangs them in his bedroom. They look really cool. I’m interested in learning about mosaics. It doesn’t look difficult, but it takes a long time to make it. Next summer I want to collect shells and small rocks by the seaside and make a mosaic. It’s my art project for the next summer.
