Mamma Mia!

Last night I went to a Broadway show in Times Square with my family to celebrate my birthday. It was a beautiful summer evening. It was warm and sunny, so we didn’t need our jackets. At first, I didn’t know which musical we were going to see because it was a surprise. When I saw the tickets for Mamma Mia , I just screamed because it was my ultimate dream to see that show. Lots of people were there. I stood and watched the crowd while we waited to get in and take our seats. The air was electric with the excitement of so many people. My sister is only four years old, and she couldn’t stay awake. It lasted two hours and thirty minutes, and she fell asleep before the end. Everyone enjoyed the show, even my little sister, especially the songs ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘Money Money Money’ and ‘The Winner Takes It All’. I thanked my parents for such a wonderful birthday surprise. I was so content and walked home with all the songs still in my head.
