Man's Best Friend

"Dogs are a man's best friend" isn't just a saying. It's the truth! Every dog owner knows their fur baby is the best friend - and they're right! No matter what kind of dog it is, how big or small, or old or young, dogs are always better friends than humans. Here are five reasons why dogs are, and always will be, man’s best friend:

Dogs don’t care what you look like or what you do for a living. Unfortunately, humans often judge each other based on these things. Your dog is the only one who loves you for who you are. You don’t have to pretend around your dog.

Feel like a run? They’re in. Feel like a nap? They could get on board with that. Want to chill out in the sun? In the shade? On the beach? On the couch? All in. All the time. Even friends aren’t all in ALL the time. Dogs? Always.

Dogs rely mostly on short term memory so they are very forgiving animals. Your friends might say that everything is ‘okay’ but they often remember your mistakes and hold them against you. Dogs are incapable of holding grudges. Of course, this doesn’t mean you should mistreat them.

Even your best friend does not always tell you the truth. But your dog is honest and never lies or pretends to be something it’s not. Your dog always tries to show you how much it loves you and you can believe it’s the truth.

Your friends find new friends and forget about you, but your dog has got only you as its friend. Even your best friend might have his own best friend but your dog’s best friend is you and it will always be that way.
