Mario's Story

Every school day after breakfast Sammy and I walk to school. We usually leave at 7:30. We live on the same street, so we like to walk to school together. If it rains, we don’t walk. I go to school with my dad and Sammy rides his bike. Once a week, we stop at the doughnut shop on the way to school. We don’t go there every day because our mothers don’t want us to eat too much junk food. It takes about half an hour to walk to school. We don’t walk very fast because Sammy and I like to talk on our way.

When Sammy and I get to school, it’s about 8:00. We go to our lockers to put our coats away. When the bell rings, we go to our classes. Our lessons begin at 8:20.
