Mark’s Shopping List
On Saturday Mark’s mum sent him shopping. She gave him a shopping list and some money. Mark went to the nearest supermarket. He entered the shop, took the trolley and walked along the aisle. Mark checked his list, looked around and saw the bakery section. He took a loaf of bread and some buns. Mark turned left and saw the dairy products. He put a carton of milk, some cheese and butter into the trolley. Mark’s mum told him to pay attention to the direction signs in the shop and not get lost. So he looked for the “Meat & Poultry” sign and he walked straight ahead and turned right. He took some meat and chicken. Mark needed some oil as well. He saw a shop assistant and asked him the way. Then Mark pushed the trolley to the checkout counter. He paid for the food. A cashier gave Mark his change. Mark looked at the shopping list outside the supermarket and found out that he hadn’t bought carrots and broccoli. So he decided to buy them at the market. The market wasn’t very far and Mark went there on foot. When he reached the market, he bought vegetables and went home. Mark’s mum was very pleased with him and thanked him for being a great helper.
