Mary Goes Shopping

Mary: Dad I need to go shopping. School starts next week and I need to buy new crayons.
Dad: Oh, I see. Can we go this afternoon?
Mary: Yes, great!
Dad: So, what do you need? Let’s make a list.
Mary: I need rubber and two pens, one blue and one red.
Dad: Okay, a rubber and pens. What else? Do you need a new pencil case?
Mary: Hmm, I guess not. My pencil case is still in good shape. Oh, but I need a new ruler. My ruler is broken.
Dad: Okay. A new ruler. How about a schoolbag?
Mary: Yes, please! I want a green schoolbag for my books.
Dad: Okay! It looks like our list is complete. Are you ready to go now?
Mary: Yes Dad, let’s go!
