MARY'S DAILY LIFE

Hi! My name is Mary. I am thirteen years old and I am from London. I attend school in London. During the week, I get up at 6:30, have a shower, get dressed and have breakfast. I brush my teeth at 7:30 and then start packing my schoolbag. I leave home and take the bus. I get to school at around 8:15 and my lessons start at 8:30. We have lunch at 12:30 in the school canteen. School finishes at 14:30. It is almost 15:15 when I come back home. I often listen to music before dinner. We have dinner at 17:00 when dad comes back from work. After dinner, I usually do my homework until 19:00. Then, my brother and I can watch TV. On Tuesdays, I have piano lessons at 18:00. From Monday to Thursday I go to bed at 21:30, but on Friday and Saturday I can go to bed later. On Saturdays, our family goes to the swimming pool and to the cinema. On Sundays, we usually visit our grandparents.

I spend a lot of my free time reading books. Meeting my friends is also really fun, especially during holidays. My brother likes watching TV, but I don’t like it. My favourite thing to watch is music videos. I love horses and dogs. Sometimes, at the weekends, my dad takes me horse riding, but not more than twice a month. I want to ride horses more often, but the ranch is far away and he doesn’t have time. I am also into basketball because I am very tall. I am not mad about computer games. I hate sitting in front of a screen for so long. I don’t really understand how people can play computer games for hours and hours!
