Mary’s Secret

Mary had a secret. She was afraid of ghosts, but she didn’t tell anyone. One night, while she was sleeping, she heard a sound. She thought, “Maybe it is a ghost. I shouldn’t be afraid of it." She got out of the bed and put on her slippers. She walked carefully and silently. After walking for 10 seconds, she saw that it was just a thin cat. The cat was weak. Mary felt sorry for the cat, so she gave some milk to the cat.
