Materials for Clothes

There are many different materials for clothes. Animals help us to wear warm clothes. We wear wool of some animals.

Look at the girl in the picture. She’s wearing a red sweater. The wool comes from sheep. It keeps us warm on cold days. Look at the family in the picture. They are wearing white t-shirts made of cotton. Cotton is soft and cool. It comes from a plant. We wear cotton in hot weather to keep cool. Look at the boy in the picture on the left. He’s wearing a thick coat made of feathers. Feathers come from birds. The feathers are soft and light. They keep us warm in cold weather. We wear coats and jackets made of feathers.
