Mathilda and I had an Argument

Mathilda and I had an Argument

Eva: What’s wrong, Sally? Why are you crying?

Sally: Mathilda and I had an argument.

Eva: Over what?

Sally: Well, you know Mathilda. She always wants to decide on everything. I was talking to her about my plans to for the weekend, and she started talking about her own plans. She didn’t want to listen to me.

Eva: I know. She can be very selfish sometimes. But why did you fall out?

Sally: Well, she’s always done this. She’s never wanted to listen to me. She’s bossy. So, I said, ‘You can’t always decide for me. You’re not my mum.’ And she got upset and shouted at me.

Eva: Hmm... Mathilda has done this to others too. I’ve fallen out with her about these things a few times before. Sometimes it’s hard to put up with her.

Sally: But she’s my best friend, and I feel like I’ve lost her.

Eva: No, I’m sure she’ll come back. I’m sure she thinks she’s lost you. You know, after our last argument, she’s

called me lots of times, but I haven’t answered her calls.

Sally: So, you think she’ll try to come back?

Eva: I’m sure. She’s done this to Jason and Ashley too!
