Matt's New Neighbourhood

I really like my new neighbourhood. It’s close to all the important places in the city, so I don’t have to walk or travel long distances to get to them. 

 

My flat is in a building very close to the square. You can see the square from my apartment. The building has a red rooftop. Behind the apartment building is the city hall, There’s a beautiful fountain in front of it. 

 

Across from the city hall, there are two buildings next to each other. The bigger one is a huge supermarket. The other one is the tallest building in the neighbourhood. It’s an office building with lots of offices. Opposite the office building, there’s a library. This library is bigger than the library in my old neighbourhood. 

 

To the left of the library, on the other side of the street, there’s a restaurant on the corner. The restaurant is very famous, so it’s got a big parking area. Across from the restaurant, there’s a sports centre. It offers the most expensive membership because it’s got the largest swimming pool in the city. 

 

The sports centre is right behind the museum, and the museum is next to an art gallery. I love going there at weekends because they’ve got new exhibitions every week.
